The color is deep ruby red with violet hues and good liveliness. Intense, persistent, spicy, with scents of red fruits and vanilla. Harmonious taste with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste, slightly tannic, which is refined with time reaching a pleasant balance.
Ideal in accompanying piadina with ham and cold cuts, baked lasagna, tagliatelle with meat sauce, cappelletti in broth, chicken and rabbit casserole with potatoes, tomatoes and rosemary, beef.
